Faith-Based Day Care

Where the day starts with God is good.

A faith-based day care serving Rock Hill and the surrounding areas. We open with scripture, spend the day developing growing minds, and make a lot of crafts.

Every morning

A scripture, or just a couple of words. God is good.

About Us

Faith first, and a lot of crayons.

I Sought The Lord Day Care is a faith-based day care serving Rock Hill and the surrounding areas. Faith is not an add-on here. It is where the day begins, before the crafts come out and the questions start.

The rest of the day goes to developing minds. That means the ordinary work of childhood: making things, asking about them, and being somewhere warm enough to keep asking.

"Faith base, developing minds, have a scripture or a couple words like God is good to start off our day, and crafts."

Our Day

The shape of a day here.

Not a rigid schedule, just the rhythm the day tends to follow.

We start with scripture

A scripture, or a couple of words. Something to set the tone before anything else begins.

We develop growing minds

Learning the way a child actually learns: by handling things, and by asking about them.

We make crafts

Crafts are a real part of the day, not a filler. Expect things to come home with your child.

What We Offer

Day care, built around three things.

We keep it simple, because these are the parts that matter to us and to the families who send their children here.

A scripture to start

Each day opens with a scripture, or a couple of words like "God is good." It is the first thing we do together.

Developing minds

The day goes to helping growing minds grow. Hands busy on real things, questions always welcome, and no rush to be anywhere but their own pace.

Crafts

Cutting, gluing, coloring, building. Crafts are a real part of the day, and they come home with your child.

Questions

Before you call.

A few things families ask. For anything else, Sharon is the one who picks up.

What does "faith-based" mean day to day?

It means the day opens with a scripture, or a couple of words like "God is good." That is where we start, before the crafts come out and the rest of the day gets going.

What areas do you serve?

Rock Hill and the surrounding areas. If you are nearby and not sure whether that includes you, call and ask.

What do the children actually do?

They start with scripture, spend the day on the work of developing minds, and they make crafts. Ordinary childhood, taken seriously.

How do I ask about a spot, hours, or rates?
